Don’t Miss Social Hour at Maison 208 in Philly

August 8, 2017

Philly’s dining scene added another option for happy hour about two months ago when Maison 208 opened on South 13th Street. “Social hour,” as it’s called at the New American eatery, unfolds from 5 to 7 p.m. every weekday upstairs in The Social bar and lounge. It promises $7 cocktails and glasses of sangria, $6 glasses of wine and local craft ciders, and $3 small plates such as mini tuna tacos and pork belly buns.

If you decide to stay for dinner, head downstairs to Maison 208’s main dining room. Dig into an entree such as the salmon with heirloom cherry tomatoes and summer corn or the Dewey burger decked out with caramelized onions and bleu cheese. Add the decadent Maison pommes frites—fries with Gruyere, garlic, and truffle oil on top—for the full Maison 208 experience.
